1.What is light? The importance of light and aquatic plants and marine life
Light is a form of energy. Aquatic plants use light, carbon dioxide and water for photosynthesis, and the production of glucose and other nutrients for the supply of aquatic plants itself, while the by-product is oxygen. The oxygen produced can be supplied to other aquatic organisms such as fish. Similarly, some algae or zooxanthellae in marine tanks also undergo photosynthesis, grow gradually, and provide survival needs for soft-bodied organisms such as invertebrates and corals. Therefore, whether it is aquatic plants or algae, we need to provide the right amount of CO2 and light, let them carry out photosynthesis, and gradually grow. Fish and other marine organisms can absorb oxygen supplied by algae or aquatic plants and eat them. This is a virtuous ecological cycle.

2.Natural light and artificial light
The light source of nature comes from the sun. Therefore, both land animals and sea creatures absorb sunlight and survive and grow. In the same way, the aquarium that creates a tank of freshwater or saltwater creatures will definitely need the acquisition of light. However, it will be more difficult for indoor aquariums to absorb natural light. Therefore, the
Aquarium Light was created. The source of sunlight is all-encompassing. Scientists analyze the visible lights from the spectrum of sunlight include red, orange, yellow, green, blue, sputum, and purple. There are also invisible lights such as infrared light, ultraviolet light, X-ray, and laser light in the sunlight.

With the continuous advancement of science and technology, scientists have continuously analyzed useful light sources in sunlight, and manufactured solar tubes, plant tubes, strong photosynthetic tubes, full-spectrum lamps, soft tubes, reptile tubes, fluorescent tubes, mercury lamps, PL tubes and so on.
